Terms of Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using privatefleet.io, dashboard.privatefleet.com, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.
2. What We Do
PrivateFleet provides software tools that help vehicle owners ("Hosts") manage their own private rental businesses — including booking management, renter verification, and storefront creation.
PrivateFleet is not a vehicle rental company and does not broker, manage, or participate in rental transactions between Hosts and Renters.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use our Service.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password
- Ensuring all information provided is accurate
- Complying with applicable laws when using PrivateFleet
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.
5. Use of Service
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload our systems
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or misrepresent the Service
6. Host and Renter Transactions
PrivateFleet provides the software, but Hosts and Renters are solely responsible for their rental agreements, insurance, and any disputes arising between them.
PrivateFleet:
- Does not guarantee renter identity or vehicle condition
- Is not liable for damages, losses, or issues arising from transactions
- Verification features are provided "as is" using third-party services.
7. Payments and Fees
Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). PrivateFleet does not store payment details and is not responsible for payment disputes between Hosts and Renters.
8. Intellectual Property
All software, branding, and materials on the Service are owned by PrivateFleet. You may not copy, distribute, or modify them without written permission.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting founders@privatefleet.io.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
PrivateFleet is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties about uptime, availability, or suitability for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, PrivateFleet is not liable for:
- Lost profits, data, or revenues
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Any disputes between Hosts and Renters
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
